Terms
The specific commitments, in the order they are likely to matter. Not a template — if a clause here surprises you later, that is a fault in this page.
What you are buying
An annual subscription that includes a volume of SMS message parts, plus DLT registration at ₹6,000 a year. Billed by CosmoOps Connect, which holds your payment method and issues the GST invoice.
A message part is the billable unit: 160 GSM-7 characters, or 70 where the message contains a character outside that set. A longer message is several parts and is charged as several, at ₹0.25 each.
Refunds
The DLT registration is not refundable. It is paid to a telecom operator on your behalf and they do not return it, so neither can we. That is the case even if your registration is subsequently rejected by the operator — the submission has a cost whether or not it succeeds.
Unused message volume is not refunded in cash. A downgrade is credited against your account rather than returned, because you keep the same product.
If we cannot deliver the service at all — no route configured, a platform failure on our side — tell us and we will make it right. That is a commitment rather than a clause with an exclusion attached.
When a message is charged
When the carrier accepts it, not when it is delivered. A message the carrier accepts and later reports as undelivered is still charged — that is standard across the industry and is how our own carrier bills us, so we are stating it rather than absorbing it quietly.
A message we refuse is not charged, and neither is one the carrier rejects at submission. Both appear in your message log with the reason.
Going past your volume
You keep sending at the same ₹0.25 a part, up to an overage allowance of 20,000 parts. That overage is billed on your next renewal rather than charged immediately.
Past the allowance, sending stops. Deliberately — an open-ended bill arriving a year later is worse than a refusal you can act on today.
What we will not send
However it is templated, and regardless of an operator having approved the template: we will not carry traffic that is unlawful, that impersonates another business or a government body, that promotes gambling or lending without the licence to do so, or that is sent to recipients who have not given the sender their number.
We will also not send promotional messages to a recipient marked DND. That is the regulation, not our preference, and it is enforced in the product rather than in this page.
If we suspend an account for any of the above we will say which, and the DLT registration already paid for is not returned.
What you are responsible for
- That you have the right to message the numbers you upload. We cannot verify consent and do not claim to.
- Your API keys. A key can spend your balance from anywhere, so keep it server-side and revoke it if it leaks — revocation takes effect within thirty seconds.
- The accuracy of what you register on DLT. An operator’s rejection is theirs to explain and we pass their wording through unedited.
